If ever there was any doubt in the hearts or minds of any basketball fan out there about the prowess of one King LeBron James, we can forever put that doubt to bed.
LeBron James is the greatest basketball player on the planet!
Here are some of his statistics from the 5 games played in the NBA Finals. These numbers are astronomical.
44 points, 8 Rebs, 6 asts, 47% shooting in 46 mins.
39 points, 16 Rebs, 11 asts, 1 stl, 1 blk, 32% shooting in 50 mins.
40 points, 12 Rebs,8 asts, 4 stls, 2 blks, 41% shooting in 46 mins.
20 points, 12 Rebs, 8 asts, 31% shooting in 41 mins.
40 points, 14 Rebs, 11 asts, 1 stl, 44% shooting in 45 mins.
Those are just ridiculously great numbers. It’s hard to imagine this level of greatness. It makes you want to be a kid on the playground again. LBJ looks like he’s having a lot of fun out there doing it too. Despite the injuries to Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Andersen Varajeo – and their very, very weak bench – James has kept the Cavaliers in this series with his excellent play. This kind of performance is so rare and so legendary that we need to give him the credit that he is more than due. LeBron is undoubtedly the Most Valuable Player of these NBA Playoffs. Without him the Cavaliers would not even have made it through the first round; much less to the Finals. This sort of performance needs to be remembered, studied and celebrated for many, many, many years to come. We salute you Mr. James.
